Workshop/Maintenance Technician

About the Role
Expro is seeking a skilled Workshop/Maintenance Technician to join our Tubular Running Services team in Altens, Aberdeen. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing Casing Running Tools and accessories to ensure they meet our high quality and certification standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnoses, and repairs of equipment in line with work plans and company quality standards.
- Assist with the building, rigging up, and rigging down of equipment as required.
- Beneficial to drive a forklift and use of overhead Gantry crane to undertake the movement, loading, and unloading of equipment.
- Undertake required inspections of equipment and prepare the appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Report all incidents and non-conformances in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines.
- Update job packs and return to the foreman/supervisor at the end of each work period.
- Liaise with various internal departments to ensure all required components and movement of items is achieved to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Actively participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status, and mobilisation/demobilisation updates.
- Attend and participate in toolbox talks and planning meetings when required.
- Carry out daily housekeeping of workplace and tools to ensure a clean working environment.
Requirements
- Technical Qualification (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic) is desirable.
- Previous mechanical or oil industry work experience is preferable.
