About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous supervision and care to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Accompany clients to the bathroom, support during seizures, and call for assistance if necessary.
  • Administer medication on time each morning, as required.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with our clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with our care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
  • Experience in a similar care role is essential.
  • Willingness to provide holiday cover across the team.
  • Commitment to long-term care for one client in a person-centered way.
  • Willingness to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs.
  • Reliability, non-judgmental, caring, responsible, and compassionate attitude.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and treating clients with dignity and respect.
