Job Title: Expert Tailor and Alteration Specialist

Company: Create Recruitment Specialists Ltd

We are working with a number of leading fashion brands across the UK who are looking for experienced and knowledgeable tailors, who are highly skilled at creating garments from scratch with the pattern cutters, as well as alterations. This is a great opportunity for experienced tailors to work with some of the leading brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the studio team and workroom manager to create samples and collection pieces, using high finishing techniques and skills.
  2. Discuss design, alteration, or repair requirements with the studio team to ensure that specifications are met to a high standard.
  3. Take customer measurements and conduct client fittings in the studio.
  4. Modify, alter, restyle, and resize garments according to instructions.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in working in tailoring.
  2. Time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  3. Great attention to detail and a commitment to delivering impeccable quality standards.
  4. Creativity and the ability to come up with innovative solutions.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
