Job Opportunity at Childbase Partnership

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice in Childcare at our Cedars Day Nursery in Leighton Buzzard. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and supportive learning environment for children.
  • Plan and implement activities that promote children's development and learning.
  • Interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young learners.
  • Adhere to nursery routines and policies, seeking guidance from your leadership team as needed.
  • Manage your time effectively to meet coursework deadlines and achieve your qualifications.
What We Offer:
  • A full-time role with a competitive hourly rate, increasing after 6 months and 12 months of service.
  • A comprehensive training program, including a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English.
  • A paediatric first aid qualification and a permanent contract upon successful completion of your apprenticeship.

Requirements:
  • Documentation to evidence your right to work in the UK.
  • Photographic ID and official documentation to evidence your national insurance number.
  • Access to a computer for online assessments and coursework submission.
  • Residency in the UK for at least 3 years.
  • Comfortable with travelling to group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.
