We are seeking a skilled and motivated Subcontract Buyer to join our dynamic Procurement team within the Customer Support and Service Solutions department. This role will report directly to the Procurement Manager of the respective sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Supplier Contracts, ensuring strict adherence to compliance and governance protocols.
  • Prepare comprehensive Request For Quotation (RFQ) documents and meticulously craft Contract documentation.
  • Assemble meticulous Contract Compliance packs for internal audits, demonstrating transparency and accountability.
  • Leverage your negotiation expertise to secure favorable Supplier pricing and proactively identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Design Engineering teams to establish product route maps and identify sustainable supply sources.
  • Generate insightful Lifecycle Management reports encompassing material sourcing strategies and Bid Support initiatives.
  • Proactively manage Supplier delivery performance, identifying and mitigating potential risks while capitalizing on emerging opportunities.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing SAP for efficient contract creation and management.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPS certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • In-depth understanding of Contract Terms & Conditions, ensuring legal compliance and clarity.
  • Knowledge of Trade/Export Compliance regulations, safeguarding business operations.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborative team player with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), fostering clear and concise interactions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP software is essential for efficient workflow management.
  • Innovative mindset, constantly seeking improvements and optimizing processes.
