NHS Scotland is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff in various clinical and non-clinical professions. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this position is 8.30 – 16.30. Please note that the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours.

To be successful in this role, you must have a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy and be a registered member of HCPC.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, promoting mobility independence with people who have experienced illness from birth, acute, trauma, etc. You will be confident in your core therapeutic skills and have knowledge of local policies and procedures.

You will work with people of all ages to overcome physical, mental, social, and environmental barriers in order to live independent lives. You will cover a wide geographical area, working in various settings, including bases and external clinics throughout the West of Scotland.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be supported to enhance your knowledge and skills to enable you to become a clinical specialist therapist. You will enjoy a robust induction programme, learning about pressure care, assessment, provision, and review of specialist equipment.

We are looking for therapists who are passionate about helping people live their lives their way. A driving licence is desirable.
