Patient Admissions Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Admissions Coordinator to join our Theatre team at the Royal South Hants hospital, Southampton.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure effective pre-operative case management, co-ordination and administration tasks leading up to and including the day of surgery.
- Collaborate with Theatre staff, Consultants, Nurses and other administration staff to ensure smooth clinical operation.
- Manage and maintain accurate patient records, including pathology and radiology reports.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a healthcare administration role, with a strong focus on patient pathway management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
