Job Description: Volunteer Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our team as a Volunteer Outreach Coordinator. In this role, you will work with our housing support team to provide outreach services to new and entrenched rough sleepers.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating the delivery of Cold Weather provision, arranging notice boards, and creating a varied activities programme. You will also work with residents to establish their hobbies and areas of interest, ensuring activities cater to all residents and maintaining cultural sensitivity.

You will be required to have excellent communication skills, be organized, and able to carry out risk assessments. You should also have experience arranging events, confidence speaking to residents, and a professional approach.

As a Volunteer Outreach Coordinator, you will have regular supervision, induction, and access to training. You will also have opportunities to progress and experience other areas of Forward Leeds' work.

The estimated salary for this role is £15,000-17,000 per annum, although this is not applicable for volunteers. Instead, you will receive a travel allowance and expenses reimbursement. We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, and we are committed to equal opportunities and diversity.
