Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menus that meet and exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a high-quality kitchen brigade
• Oversee the operational management of the kitchen and team members
• Identify effective approaches to succession planning
• Create menus that meet and exceed customers' needs and conform to brand standards
• Ensure the consistent production of high-quality food through all hotel food outlets
• Develop positive customer relations through proactive interaction with guests, team members, contractors, and suppliers
• Manage department operations, including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and waste management
