Mechanical Shift Engineer - Mars Wrigley

Join our team of skilled engineers at Mars Wrigley, where you will be responsible for maintaining the optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment. As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical problems, conduct preventative maintenance, and support operations in equipment setup and adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on various manufacturing and packaging equipment
  • Support operations in equipment setup and adjustments to centerline operational output of assigned equipment
  • Document work orders using SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance logging and completing maintenance activities on a daily basis
  • Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Theory and Concepts through participation in Pillar Teams

Requirements:

Suitably qualified in an engineering discipline supported by relevant experienceAbility to troubleshoot basic pneumatic and mechanical drive systems at the component level on all assigned equipmentWillingness to develop required technical skills in welding, basic machinist, and fabrication skill sets
