Leading a Portfolio of UK Resident and Charitable Trusts in London (Hybrid) - £62,000 - £78,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

Cedar is seeking an experienced Trust Manager to oversee a dynamic portfolio of trusts, ensuring seamless adherence to critical deadlines for accounts and tax compliance.

The successful candidate will report directly to Directors and Partners, leveraging their expertise to make meaningful impacts daily. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio with meticulous attention to detail, guaranteeing timely submission of accounts and tax returns.
  • Elevating team performance through comprehensive reviews and valuable guidance, empowering colleagues to excel in their roles.
  • Providing expert insights on taxation and Inheritance Tax matters, addressing client concerns with confidence and precision.
  • Fostering collaboration between tax, accounts, and financial planning teams, promoting a cohesive approach to client services.
  • Navigating complex budgets with ease, accurately monitoring chargeability and generating fee notes transparently.
  • Embracing opportunities for skill development in charitable trusts, enriching your expertise and contributing to the growth of Cedar's reputation as a leader in trust management.

About You:

  • Proficient in utilizing CCH Trust Accounts and CCH Personal Tax software within the CCH Practice Management System.
  • Possessing CTA and/or STEP qualifications or demonstrating a strong desire to pursue a STEP qualification, further enhancing your professional profile.
  • Demonstrating exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, effortlessly establishing rapport with colleagues and clients alike.
  • Adept at adapting to challenges with flexibility and reliability, consistently seizing opportunities to innovate and drive progress.
  • Motivating the team with self-motivation and resilience, embodying a relentless pursuit of excellence that sets Cedar apart from its competitors.
