Job Title: Industrial Placement Systems Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team as Industrial Placement Systems Engineers. As a key member of our systems engineering community, you will be responsible for developing practical skills in engineering design and development for complex systems, understanding key processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and applying your academic skills to solve problems, generate ideas, and be proactive within the team.
  • Working closely with engineers across multiple disciplines to solve problems.
  • Completing tasks to a high standard in accordance with appropriate processes and procedures.
  • Gaining an understanding of the EW and UAS domains to support the development of relevant products and technologies.

Qualifications:

All of our Industrial Placement roles require a minimum of a predicted 2:1 grade in a relevant degree discipline. For technical roles, please note that our preferred degree disciplines include Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other STEM subject degrees.

For the Industrial Placement Systems Engineer role, the acceptable degrees are: mathematics, physics, aerospace/aeronautical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, general engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, and computer systems.

You must have an understanding of mathematics to at least A-Level standard, and a basic understanding of electronics.
