We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Repairs to join our team in the UK. This role will be responsible for leading the TK Elevator and Lift & Engineering Services Repairs division, driving efficiency and excellence in all aspects of repair work.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in complex lift repairs, including roping, controller replacements, and motor rewinds. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver high-quality results.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Maximising opportunities for contract enhancements related to costs and timelines.
  2. Ensuring timely execution of repair work and coordinating larger repair projects within the UK regions.
  3. Maintaining high-quality standards in work to ensure the best customer satisfaction.
  4. Regularly analysing KPIs, material expenses, and labour hours to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
  5. Introducing standard repair packages and campaigns.
  6. Creating and overseeing a strategy to meet monthly objectives in accordance with the company's repair processes.
  7. Achieving monthly targets for margins, volume, and efficiency in the repair division.
  8. Delivering precise forecasts using the monthly repair schedule.
  9. Providing onsite support for customers and employees, ensuring quality and safety of works.
  10. Building a new Heavy Repair team by recruiting top talent and leading the team to enhance overall performance and cultivate necessary skills.

Minimum requirements include:

  1. Commercially driven.
  2. Industry knowledge of the Lift & Escalator business.
  3. Strong technical experience in complex lift repairs, including roping, controller replacements, and motor rewinds.
  4. Knowledge of the CDM regulations.
  5. Competent in all Microsoft programmes, including Project and PowerPoint.
  6. Excellent time management skills, highly organised, approachable, and flexible.
  7. Strong organisational and people skills.
  8. Attention to detail.
  9. Pro-active, driven by results, and looking to go the extra mile.
