Nursing Home Clinical Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at St David's Nursing Home in Ealing. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained for our residents.
The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership and supervision skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and their families. You will be responsible for the day-to-day care of residents, delegating tasks to nursing and care staff as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision to Registered Nurses, ensuring they maintain the necessary clinical competencies to meet resident needs.
- Act as a Shift Team Leader, supervising and developing care staff.
- Contribute to the training of care staff, serving as a role model at all times.
- Participate in personal and professional development opportunities, attending mandatory training as required.
- Ensure the Gold Care standards and support systems are effectively operated, leading to positive outcomes for residents.
- Assist the Home Manager with formal supervision/appraisal of staff members, ensuring consistently high standards.
- Implement and adhere to Gold Care's policies and procedures, legal requirements, and relevant codes of practice.
- Liaise with maintenance contractors and others involved in property maintenance.
- Promote the service and Gold Care through effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Strong clinical background and current NMC pin
- Effective leadership and supervision skills
- Ability to contribute to the training of care staff
- Willingness to participate in personal and professional development opportunities
