Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer

Recruit Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer to join our compliance division.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Deliver detailed and accurate technical reports to stakeholders.
  3. Implement continuous improvement measures to enhance efficiency and quality.
  4. Resolve technical and non-technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  5. Promote efficient working practices within the team, fostering a culture of excellence.
Required Experience and Skills:
  1. Proven experience in thermography and emergency lighting system inspections.
  2. Familiarity with various electrical systems and equipment, including modern test equipment.
  3. City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) qualification, demonstrating expertise in electrical engineering.
  4. Strong understanding of BS7671 standards, technical terminology, and risk assessments.
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  6. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results.
  7. Adaptability to various environments and client needs, with a flexible approach to work.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile device technology, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  9. Preferred but not essential: knowledge of the electrical engineering industry, fault finding experience, and ISO standards.
