Job Title: Laboratory Technician Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Technician Lead to join our team at SGS. As a Laboratory Technician Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of laboratory technicians in the analysis of samples and the maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of laboratory technicians in the analysis of samples and the maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to laboratory technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the petrochemical industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of analytical testing activities and laboratory equipment.
  • GCSE Science/Mathematics/English, or equivalent, grades A to C.
