About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. Our SEMH School is rated Ofsted Good, and we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for students with Special Educational Needs and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties, Autism, and ADHD.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Provide therapeutic support to students, helping them to manage emotions and behaviors.
  • Assist with life skills development, including vocational training and daily living skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience or qualifications in working with behaviour that challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
