Salary: Circa £23,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant/ Sales Ledger Clerk to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an ideal role for someone who has some office experience and is looking for their first role within finance.

This position involves supporting the transactional processing of the company's accounts receivable function, requiring excellent data entry and processing skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Downloading and reconciling daily bank statements.
  • Filing remittance advices and processing cash receipts.
  • Posting transactions to the company's financial system.
  • Reviewing supplier statements and identifying payments to be made.
  • Assisting with clearing unallocated cash and taking payments from clients.
  • Supporting the Accounts Payable team with expenses processing.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
