We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our client's logistics team. As a key member of the team, you will assist the Logistics and Operations Manager in planning and routing the fleet of tippers to serve customers efficiently and effectively.

• Assist in the management and utilisation of the haulage fleet, including subcontractors;
• Plan routes for all vehicles, focusing on cost and efficiency;
• Provide drivers with important routing information and site-specific instructions;
• Track driver progress, monitor road network issues, and assist with daily driver debriefs;
• Process administrative duties efficiently and accurately;
• Contribute to the implementation of new software to streamline quotation, planning, and dispatch functions within the transport department.

This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in logistics, transport, or fleet management is essential, along with a good geographical knowledge or scheduling/route planning experience.

• A full valid UK driving license;
