About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team at Riverpark Training & Development. As a key member of our training team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and assessment to our apprentices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide practical demonstrations to apprentices on vehicle body repair techniques, ensuring high standards and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist the Body Repair Tutor in gathering evidence for VQs and completing documentation as required.
  • Support the development of training and assessment processes, staying up-to-date with current industry methods and technological developments.
  • Provide welfare support to apprentices and employers as needed.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Automotive Body Repair or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in modern repair techniques and technology within the industry.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire learners.
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach, with a willingness to listen and support apprentices during their training.
  • A full, clean driving licence held for a minimum of one year.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Assessing or training skills.
  • ATA Senior Panel/MET Technician qualification.
  • Welding abilities or AOM-009 qualification.
  • Certificate in Teaching or willingness to achieve.
