We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at RedTech. This role will involve protecting our IT systems and data by monitoring for security threats, handling security incidents, developing security strategies, and collaborating with other teams within the business.

About the Role:

This is a brilliant opportunity with an industry-leading consultancy working within the healthcare sector. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Monitoring and responding to security incidents using tools like Microsoft Defender and Sentinel">
  • Working closely with the Team Leader to shape the path of the Cybersecurity team moving forward">
  • Technical writing (e.g. playbooks, response frameworks, SIEM configurations)">
  • Independent project delivery">
  • Consulting with internal IT teams to provide strategic security advice on their IT projects">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • At least 1 year of commercial experience in an IT Security role & 2 years in a commercial technical setting">
  • You have worked within an internal IT department opposed to an MSP">
  • Experience liaising with internal IT teams to provide strategic security advice on their IT projects">
  • Experience developing new security processes & policies">
  • Excellent knowledge of IT Infrastructure Systems">

What We Offer:

We offer an excellent salary and benefits package, as well as huge progression opportunities with the chance to lead your own team. The role is based in Cambridge and involves a hybrid work arrangement, with 50% of the time spent in the office over 2 weeks. The first 6 months of the training phase will be 4 days in office.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
