Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing referrals, undertaking mental state examinations, and participating in ward rounds and clinical audits. They will also take overall responsibility for patient treatment plans and lead the implementation of risk assessment, risk management, and clinical governance.

We are looking for someone who is fully GMC registered and MBBS qualified, with experience and knowledge in adult psychiatry and mental health diagnosis. The ideal candidate will also be knowledgeable of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, as well as the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity.
