**Job Summary**

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is looking for a highly motivated Consultant Anaesthetist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering elective and emergency theatre sessions, providing on-call support, and contributing to training and service continuity.

**Responsibilities**

The postholder will have a 10 PA working week, with a formal job plan agreed within 3 months of starting in post. They will be expected to deliver clinical and quality targets, support trainees, and actively contribute to training and service continuity.

**Essential Criteria**

The ideal candidate will hold an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification, Level 3 Safeguarding Children training, and full Registration with the GMC. They must also be on the GMC Specialist Register for Intensive Care Medicine and/or Anaesthesia, Emergency Medicine, or Acute Medicine/Medicine.

**Salary:** £96,000 - £126,000 per annum, depending on experience.
