About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at our Portbury production facility in Bristol. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling non-emergency maintenance work, ensuring seamless operations and optimal production levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust maintenance plans, coordinating with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Efficiently schedule and control non-emergency maintenance workflows, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to production.
  • Liaise with production, supply chain, and maintenance organizations to achieve maintenance objectives and ensure production meets desired output levels.
  • Ensure all maintenance-related works align with engineering standards, including sanitary design, safety, ergonomics, and food safety requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for improving ways of working and preventive maintenance regimes, driving continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for analysis and reporting, ensuring audit readiness.
  • Timely maintenance and development of site CMMS – SAP PM.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical components and systems.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple work streams with conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to negotiate maintenance needs with other departmental requirements.
  • Adequate craft knowledge to estimate man hours and materials.
  • Strong IT skills and SAP PM knowledge.
