Job Description:
Lancashire DAF is seeking an experienced Workshop Service Controller to join our team based in Bamber Bridge, Preston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controlling the allocation of work to technicians, ensuring timely completion and maintaining productivity standards. This office-based role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Service Manager and work closely with the Workshop Foreman to lead a team of 25 Technicians and 4 Apprentices across four shift patterns. As a key member of the team, they will be responsible for allocating work, communicating with service reception, and liaising with customers to ensure seamless service delivery.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in maintaining our high levels of customer satisfaction and business performance. Key Responsibilities:
* Allocating work to technicians efficiently and effectively

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Workshop Service Controller or similar role in the automotive industry
* Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicles and IT skills
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
