About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Integration Engineer to join our team at Advanced Resource Managers. This is a contract role, lasting 6 months, with an estimated hourly rate of £50-70 (Inside IR35).

Job Overview
  • The successful candidate will support the design development and delivery of facility work packages associated with the 5 Basin berthing requirements for Astute Class submarines.
  • They will be accountable to the 5 Basin Facility Design Manager for the design development of work packages, ensuring quality, output, scope, schedule, and cost.
Main Responsibilities
  • Manage one or more technical design sub-packages as assigned by the Design Manager (Integration), agreeing project-related objectives, managing designer performance, and making appropriate technical management responses.
    • Ensure design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the project.
      • Assist the Design Manager (Integration) in ensuring effective Quality Management Arrangements.
        • Document processes and activities being managed, maintaining records, and applying configuration and quality controls.
          • Communicate risk assessments to contractors, ensuring they understand hazards and risks associated with the delegated engineering team's work.
          Requirements
          • An Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.
            • Chartered Engineer status or actively working toward Chartered Status.
              • Collaborative working experience in multi-discipline teams delivering projects of varying types.
                • Demonstrated experience covering a range of tasks across various complexities.
                  • Effective communication skills for interfacing with other disciplines.
