About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist to provide specialist psychological assessments, interpretation from psychological tests, semi-structured interviews, individual and group therapy to our clients.
The successful candidate will have a key role in considering potential risks and social needs of the client group, relevant to their diagnosis, and will work collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to develop risk assessments and care plans.
About the TeamCygnet Heathers and Meadow Mews are specialist mental health services providing neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative rehabilitation for men with mental health difficulties and acquired brain injury.
The team provides a multi-disciplinary approach to rehabilitation in a therapeutic environment where the focus is on maximising positive outcomes and recovery.
RequirementsWe are looking for a HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, be passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs, and have the ability to work with difficulties such as physical & verbal aggression, history of offending, drug and alcohol problems and self-harm.
