Procurement Manager

At Kilwaughter Minerals ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a best-in-class procurement function, sourcing sustainable and cost-effective raw materials from international markets for our four sites in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a raw materials sourcing strategy aligned to the business strategy, identifying and delivering meaningful cost-saving opportunities.
- Identify risks in continuity of supply and market volatility, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the company strategic plan.
- Develop a centralized procurement function for selected departmental overhead spend, driving synergies, quality, and reducing costs.
- Support the delivery of the company's energy objectives, including ownership of near-term procurement and contributing to longer-term decarbonisation planning.
- Enhance systems and processes to advance the company's MRP automation, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to achieve customer service levels and OTIF targets.
- Support the company and internal stakeholders in delivering high-quality capital expenditure solutions.
