Life as an Internal Auditor at Computacenter

A 12-month fixed-term contract is available for a Risk Management Specialist within our Group Internal Audit team.

We're looking for an individual with a strong background in risk management to join us on this exciting opportunity. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the control culture and design of risk management, control, and governance processes within Computacenter.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Internal Audit and be responsible for delivering high-quality audits, managing stakeholders across the business, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

About the Role

  • Deliver day-to-day audit activities, including standalone audits and stakeholder management, while maintaining effective working relationships with senior management.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of governance, risk, and control issues to drive meaningful findings and recommendations.
  • Become a trusted advisor to senior management, driving departmental growth and success through tangible results and delivery.
  • Craft compelling reports that showcase root cause remediation and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior-level management and facilitate stakeholder agreement on solutions.

Your Background

  • 5+ years of experience in internal audit, preferably in large IT services or contracting businesses, with expertise in planning and performing audits across multiple disciplines.
  • Ideal experience in contract management, either as an auditor, service manager, or commercial finance professional.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to present complex internal control and risk matters clearly to various audiences.
  • High-quality written reporting skills, ensuring reports are clear, concise, and actionable.

We estimate a salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum based on industry standards, company size, and location. This figure may vary depending on individual factors such as qualifications, experience, and performance.
