Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Bank Staffing Administrator to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to contribute to the success of our temporary staffing service.

Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum pro rata (dependent on experience)

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills, be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced office environment, and possess strong communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our frontline clinical teams by covering vacant shifts with bank and agency workers.

You will also be required to provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, and interact with colleagues, staff, and external agencies. We value flexibility and consider all requests for flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the temporary staffing service by coordinating shift cover for bank and agency workers
  • Maintain accurate records and databases
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum GCSE level in English and Maths or equivalent qualification
  • Evidence of working in a busy administrative environment
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
