Gadsby's Delivery Driver

About the Role:
We're proud to offer a unique opportunity to join our team as a Gadsby's Driver, where you'll play a vital role in delivering our freshly baked products to customers across the region. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of our products, while providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with our business partners.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vehicle safety and temperature checks to ensure your van is ready for deliveries and safe to be on the road.
- Load, store, and unload freshly baked goods in and out of your vehicle, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
- Complete required paperwork and checklists, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Clean and service your van regularly, ready for the next delivery.
About You:
We're looking for a reliable and dependable individual who excels at teamwork and organisation. While previous experience is a bonus, we're interested in your skills, attitude, and ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team. You'll need to have a full manual driving licence and demonstrate:
- A safe and efficient method of handling deliveries.
- An understanding and appreciation for food safety and hygiene.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and the creativity to overcome challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and business partners.
