We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a MHST Team Lead to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in leading a group of mental health professionals, providing expert clinical guidance and operational support.
The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people within mental health provisions, as well as a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and policies. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage complex situations.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the MHST team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to NICE guidelines.
- Manage a small caseload while line-managing clinical staff, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture, promoting open communication and collaboration.
- Participate in audit processes and quality improvement initiatives, utilizing expertise to inform service development.
**Requirements**
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, social work, occupational therapy, clinical psychology).
- Significant experience working with children and young people within mental health provisions.
- Proven track record in delivering cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based interventions.
