Job Description

Element Materials Technology is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Technical Engineer to join our team in a Fire Safety Specialist role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing results from fire resistance testing and producing product assessments and classification reports.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical and certification career within a global testing, inspection, and certification business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of fire resistance testing results and produce high-quality technical reports.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of national, European, and international standards and specifications related to fire safety.
  • Collaborate with clients and testing departments to plan and execute test programs.
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients on fire safety products and constructions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in fire safety technology.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree standard in a science or engineering subject.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in fire safety.
  • Methodical and highly organized, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel to other sites or customer locations when necessary.
