Workshop Assistant Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Assistant to join our team at A P Tools Limited in Hamble, Southampton. As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our pneumatic and electric tools.

Responsibilities:

* Repair and maintenance of pneumatic and electric tools
* PAT testing and HAV testing
* Fault finding and troubleshooting
* Manual lifting and computer data input
* Communication with customers via telephone and face-to-face
* Occasional work away from the office

Requirements:

* Previous hands-on mechanical experience
* Competent with basic mechanical principles
* Eagerness to learn and take on new skills
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Sage knowledge preferred
* Full clean driving license
