We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, working within the prison service on a flexible basis. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide specialist mental healthcare to offenders and work as part of the Mental Health In-Reach Team. You will be required to work in a psychologically minded way with offenders, achieving their agreed goals and quality health outcomes.

Main Duties
  • Provide specialist mental healthcare to offenders, including assessment, intervention, and care planning.
  • Work collaboratively with the Mental Health In-Reach Team to deliver effective and responsive care.
  • Maintain comprehensive electronic clinical records, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma level/Degree in a relevant health/social care profession, with current registration with the NMC or HCPC. Additionally, they should possess two years of substantive post-registration experience in frontline adult mental health services. We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
