We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swim Teacher to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As a Swim Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities.
Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver engaging swimming lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our customers. You will work closely with our customers to understand their goals and develop personalized lesson plans to help them achieve their objectives.
In addition to teaching swimming, you will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment. This includes supervising customers in the swimming pool and surrounding areas, ensuring their safety and discipline.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about swimming and has excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to work effectively with customers of all ages and abilities, and be able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver engaging swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Supervise customers in the swimming pool and surrounding areas
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Assist with administration tasks as required
- NPLQ qualification or equivalent
- Level 2 swimming teaching qualification
- DBS check
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with customers of all ages and abilities
