We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join our team at Made Employment Ltd. As a Commercial Insurance Account Handler, you will be responsible for working closely with management to develop and maintain existing business relationships, as well as identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Broking new and existing business, including renewals
  • Working closely with management to develop and maintain existing business relationships
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them
  • Negotiating and troubleshooting with insurers
  • Progressing towards or having attained CII qualifications

Requirements:

  • Broking experience, including familiarity of Construction, Commercial SME Packages, Motor Fleet, PI, Cyber Liability, and Property Owners and Liability contracts
  • Sound knowledge of insurance principles and practices
  • Knowledge of current compliance regime for general insurance
  • Computer and keyboard skills, including navigation of standard office PC systems and Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Past use of Open GI (MISYS) would be beneficial
