Rigging and Lifting Trainer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rigging and Lifting Trainer to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of courses, including ECITB appointed person moving loads, GWO slinger signaller, LOLR awareness, and OPITO banksman slinger initial training.

About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality training to clients, ensuring they meet the required standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including course outlines, presentations, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with other trainers and subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training delivery.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure trainee performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure training remains relevant and effective.
Requirements
  • Strong background in crane operations, rigging, or heavy lifting, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a training or instructional role.
  • Hold a relevant qualification, such as OPITO or ECITB certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and trainees.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work schedules and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address training needs and gaps.
