Job Title: Senior Portfolio Risk Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Risk Analyst to join our team in Henley-on-Thames. As a key member of our Global Performance Measurement Risk's (GPMR) team, you will be responsible for providing in-depth market and liquidity risk analysis and reporting to internal partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a coordinated risk measurement infrastructure that meets the needs of our EMEA risk monitoring requirements.
  • Ensure that risk measurement capabilities and outputs are continuously improved and adjusted based on regulatory, statutory, or corporate portfolio risk measurement requirements.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report market risk, liquidity risk, and leverage across all EMEA funds.
  • Provide comprehensive and high-quality portfolio risk measurement, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with global Risk Measurement teams and other Investment Risk functions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our global platform.
  • Provide expert support to stakeholders in research, quantitative, and qualitative analysis of portfolios.
  • Develop a sophisticated understanding of markets and their potential impact on portfolio risk.
Requirements:
  • Expert-level understanding of risk models and statistics, including VaR, Volatility, and Tracking Error.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments and pricing methodologies for derivatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of MSCI RiskMetrics and good Bloomberg knowledge.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, and VBA is required.
  • Knowledge of BarraOne, Blackrock Aladdin, and Axioma is a plus.
  • Ability to operate in a global team-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • High research capability.
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
  • Open-minded, flexible, and willing to listen to others' opinions.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with individuals at all technical levels.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Economics, Financial Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • CFA, FRM, or CQF is a plus.
