Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Visual Effects Artist to join our team at Flix Interactive. As a key member of our VFX team, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and immersive game effects that captivate player imaginations and enhance their gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality VFX assets, including textures, shaders, and animations, to bring game environments to life.
  • Collaborate with designers, concept artists, and art leads to ensure VFX align with game design and artistic vision.
  • Work closely with animators to ensure VFX syncs up with animations and is correctly implemented in the engine.
  • Conduct performance and memory profiling to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques in VFX and experiment with new technologies to improve visual quality and pipeline efficiency.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable professional knowledge of art and animation fundamentals, including creation of original textures and assets for VFX use.
  • Significant VFX experience in the games industry, with a portfolio of work demonstrating ability to create high-quality real-time VFX for games.
  • Familiarity with in-game lighting, material creation, and post effects, as well as 3D workflows and texture creation.
  • Proven experience creating high-quality VFX that run in real-time in Unreal Engine.
  • Full understanding and experience of the entire game production cycle and associated issues.
