Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our community health team in Mildenhall. As a part-time employee, you will work autonomously with individuals to achieve quality of life and independence.

  • You will conduct holistic assessments and deliver therapy interventions to support patients in their own homes, residential care homes, and clinics.
  • Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals and agencies to provide seamless services.
  • You will also assist the Team Manager and Clinical Specialist OT in developing therapy services.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high standards of healthcare to patients by performing thorough assessments and implementing effective therapy plans.

  • Work within the integrated team to facilitate early discharge from hospital or prevent unnecessary admissions.
  • Collaborate with all healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach.
  • Assist the Team Manager and Clinical Specialist OT in developing therapy services.
Salary and Benefits

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time), depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, generous annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy.
  • Health Professions Council Registration.
  • Documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
Personal Qualities

We are looking for an individual who is able to travel to rural locations and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
