Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Software and Releases Management engineers, holding overall responsibility for the creation, maintenance, and delivery of Software Functions Implementation Plans for concurrent projects.
  • Provide strategic leadership for planning and delivering Feature Maturity Roadmaps through vehicle build gateways and software integration points.
  • Work closely with key technology partners, driving the development of processes and tools for managing Software BOMs and software releases, ensuring integration with engineering and manufacturing workflows.
  • Responsible for generating comprehensive reports and quality metrics for project stakeholders, and quality and change management board, ensuring a common perception of software quality.
  • Oversee the management of software issues databases, engaging with relevant stakeholders to ensure issues are prioritized correctly and timely resolved.
  • Represent the Vehicle Functions and Software Releases Management team at the highest levels of the organization, providing leadership and technical direction in meetings and decision-making forums.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements in software management, ensuring continuous optimization and project efficiency.

Requirements

  • Program Management experience and a proven track record of delivery of complex experience-defined systems and software in the automotive industry.
  • A wide range of understanding of electrical architectures and systems, functions design, and integration methodologies. Experience with EV systems and zonal architectures would be advantageous.
  • Experience planning features implementations in multi-party project environments, with experience in using issues management tools, and managing risk mitigation.
  • Understanding of systems and component delivery within an APQP, six sigma, or similar framework (FMEA, quality planning, PPAP, etc.).
  • An articulate, self-motivated individual who can lead teams effectively and work well under pressure. Communicates effectively and fosters good working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
