Restaurant Operations Manager

- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a warm welcome for all guests
- Minimize complaints and handle them professionally in accordance with company policies
- Supervise and manage the Restaurant team in line with company policies and manuals
- Work with the Food and Beverage Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager to maximize sales performance and achieve sales targets
- Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs
- Follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual
- Ensure service of food and drinks is done quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
- Ensure your team are trained and effective in their roles
- Ensure menu training is carried out as per release of new menus
- Ensure relevant admin is carried out within the department to meet business needs
- Ensure you are employing relevant staff for the department and following correct recruitment and induction procedures
- Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
- Makes guests aware of offers on our great food and drink range
- Assist in any function or events set ups in accordance with procedures
- Maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company Policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales
- Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations
- Ensure service meets the standards to maintain and achieve relevant awards for Gallery Restaurant
- Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy
- Ensure good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel
- Understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid
- Perform all other duties as required
- Immaculate personal presentation and standards
- Attention to detail and the ability to forward think
- Strong Team Player
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and smile even in the toughest situations
