Salary: £18-£19 per hour + package, plus an estimated annual salary of £38,000-£39,200 based on 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year.

About the Role:
  1. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing paperwork, liaising with clients, overseeing labour on site, addressing and resolving any issues that arise, and reacting to problems and escalating if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily site activities and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
  3. Oversee and coordinate the work of tradespeople on site, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  4. Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact project delivery, such as delays, quality control, or safety risks.
  5. Escalate complex issues to senior management or relevant authorities when necessary.

Requirements:

  1. A strong background in mechanical engineering, preferably with experience in M&E - HVAC plumbing/heating.
  2. Proven experience in plumbing and heating, with a good understanding of HVAC systems.
  3. SMSTS certification (or equivalent) is essential.
  4. NVQ qualification and asbestos awareness training are desirable but not essential.
