Clinical Fellow in NICU

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in stabilisation and transfer of sick neonates, as well as management and logistical decision-making.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns, participating in education and training activities to maintain and enhance your skills. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in neonatal transport and contribute to the advancement of neonatal care.

About the Role:

  • Stabilise and transfer critically ill newborns from other hospitals to NICU
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for neonates with complex medical conditions
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council
  • Demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking English that enable effective communication about medical topics

Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary of £61,825 to £70,425 per year, pro-rata, as well as access to a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
