Job Description

The successful candidate will undertake independent and objective internal audits to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. They will provide expert advice to the DBCA Corporate Executive and senior management to improve organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex audits and investigations, applying legislation, policy, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Plan, interview, and report effectively, considering rules of evidence and natural justice.
  • Undertake business process reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting internal audits that bring value to an organisation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary auditing and risk management concepts and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct complex audits and investigations.

Benefits
