About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of maintenance and reliability strategies to ensure maximum equipment availability and optimal plant performance. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities, as well as analyzing and resolving equipment-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience with maintenance management software and data analysis tools.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall plant performance.
- Conduct regular maintenance audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel on best practices and new technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in maintenance and reliability engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance and reliability engineering.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, motors, and control systems.
- Experience with maintenance management software, such as SAP or CMMS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What We Offer
Diageo offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including annual bonus, product allowance, private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme, and six months paid family leave.
