Water Hygiene Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Water Hygiene Technician to join our team at GRAHAM ASSET MANAGEMENT LIMITED. As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of water hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular monitoring inspections to ensure compliance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
  • Undertake temperature testing of water outlets, TMVs, and hot water storage vessels.
  • Inspect cold water storage tanks and collect water samples for analysis.
  • Disinfect showerheads and maintain electronic log books.
  • Perform other water hygiene-related tasks as required, including maintenance and remediation works.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Current Full UK Driver's Licence.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous experience in related water system remediation/maintenance works.
  • City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training.
  • Demonstrate plumbing qualification, C&G Level 1, 2 or above.
  • Working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSC ACoP L8, HSG 274, Water Regulations).
  • Previous experience in the maintenance, servicing, and testing of Chemical Water Treatment services.
