Taxation Specialist

Armstrong Knight is seeking a highly skilled Taxation Specialist to join its prestigious accountancy practice, working within the tax team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, split across personal and corporate tax.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Tax and be able to work on multiple accounts simultaneously. They will also possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as good English, both written and verbal.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

About the Role:

1. Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring all tax obligations are met in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, ensuring all interactions are professional and courteous.
3. Process personal tax cases, varying in complexity from straightforward repayment claims to high net worth individuals, including company directors, self-employed individuals and partnerships.
4. Prepare computations and returns for corporation tax, which may include personal tax affairs of directors.
5. Monitor the corporation tax status of companies, producing monthly reports to ensure contact partners and managers are fully aware of the clients' corporation tax position.
