Tool Room Engineer Opportunity

CNC Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Tool Room Engineer to join our client's esteemed engineering company in the Crewkerne area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Modify, repair, and maintain Injection and Compression moulding tools to meet the company's high standards.
  2. Operate and manage various CNC and manual machining equipment in a Toolroom environment.
  3. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce high-precision tooling components.
  4. Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and quality control processes.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Tool Maker, preferably in the Injection and Compression moulding sector.
  2. Proficiency with CNC and manual machining equipment.
  3. Strong knowledge of machining techniques and materials used in mould-making.
  4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of manual dexterity.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Previous experience in a Toolroom or precision engineering environment.

Please note that working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm, with some overtime on Fridays.
